Boy Moment - Weekend with Ryan

Boy Moment - Weekend with Ryan

I'm so incredibly blessed.  As a boylover the dream is to be friends with boys and be able to watch over them, protect them, and make them happy.  Sure there's often a sexual side to that but keeping that to myself and out of my relationships, I'm so blessed with the YFs in my life.

There's a boy named Ryan who recently turned 13.  He's got light brown hair with a bleached blonde streak in the front, black glasses, a perfect completion and the sweetest personality.  He's such a softy that he cried in The Amazing Spiderman 2 because people were being mean to the electric guy before he turned evil.  He's a little techy kid who spends much of his time fiddling with his computer.  He plays trumpet in his school band and his hand eye skills are adorably laughable.  Simply put, he's a cute, kind hearted nerd.  I've known him since he was about 7 or so since our families go to the same vacation spot every year.  And though we typically only see each other that one week of the year, we'll stay connected online and play games sometimes.  But when we're together he can't stop asking questions.  If there's even 10 seconds of silence at any point he'll say "So...uh...".  I'll turn to him with an inquisitive smile and ask "What's up bud?" and leaving him struggling to come up with a question.  He'll usually ask something like "So, anything cool?" or very generic or he'll ask about my summer plans, which haven't changed since 10 minutes ago when I answered that question.  I think he just wants to make sure I don't get bored of him or something, but he never bores me.

Well, he lives about a 4 hour drive away.  His family came down my way for a school event a month ago but his mom hurt her shoulder so they rushed home before we could meet up and I felt bad that Ryan was so disappointed we missed each other.  So to make it up to him I decided to make the drive this past weekend.  I drove out Saturday and arrived in the evening just on time for dinner.  Ryan was so excited and got all bubbly and didn't really know what to say so he simply hugged me.  His little sister was excited to see me too and had to show me her mermaid tail she got to help her swim in the pool.  We all hung out and Ryan and I played chess and such until bed time.  He wanted to sleep out in the living room with me so his mom set up a blowup bed and I took the couch.  I think boys with glasses are super cute but when he sleeps he removes them and it gives him such a cute vulnerable look and I wanted so badly to hold and care for him.  The next day we went swimming, played ping pong, went to the movies (he really wanted to see Independence Day) and then we had a huge nerf gun war against his sister and her friend.  It was so much fun, though I did feel a bit uncomfortable pointing guns (albeit fake) at kids.  We lost the first round but came back with a vengeance on the second and lit his sister up! haha  He told me he's never had that much fun playing nerf wars before and that he wishes I could come visit more often.  Maybe I will!  During dinner he offered to say grace and prayed and thanked God for me at least four times and I felt so loved.  I had a long drive ahead so I had to leave around 7PM but before I walked out he said "Wait!!! We've got a super secret for you."  then he pulled cookies out of the oven that he had been baking and gave me some for the road.  We hugged goodbye and took some pictures and then I reluctantly left.  I wasn't on the road for more than 20 minutes before he started texting me again thanking me for coming and the like.

I'm so thankful that I can do this, and that I have boys whos families not only let me stay with them, but want me to.  His parents already told me I should come back soon and that I made Ryan's weekend.  And he totally made mine.  As cute as he is, I don't have any sexual feelings for him, only brotherly and nurturing and I'd like to keep it that way.  My father even told me how neat he thinks it is that I drove all the way out there for Ryan and that he loves how I give so much of myself to kids.  And I say this not to brag about myself, but to show how blessed I am that God's given me a way to turn this burden into something great.  There is a place for us in this world and I have found it.  I pray that all of us can find the opportunities out there to be a big brother/uncle figure to kids in need. It really is the best feeling in the world.

  2. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
